Yet more graveyard pictures!

Currently assembling images of cemeteries for a uni project and narrowing the results down as I go...

I also hope that I have yielded some successful images with my new film camera which I am currently having some images developed from. Gotta wait until next week to pick them up but hopefully they will be worth the wait!

Canon EOS 300 35mm Film Camera

Probably my best eBay find ever. Canon EOS 300 35mm film camera, 6 filters, zoom lens, remote switch, batteries & a roll of black and white film for less than it usually costs to buy the camera body on its own.

So pleased with it! Upon closer inspection, the eBay seller had in fact left a brand new roll of film inside the camera itself which I have already used up and sent off to be developed. Exciting!

As with the Golden Globes, an all round great set of winners and nominees. I'm really happy to see the Modern Family love is still going strong, particularly the win for Ty Burrell.

As per usual, the SAG Awards are an (almost) mirror of the Golden Globes with a few minor changes (and the obvious difference in actual categories). The Globes are also usually a fairly good indication of how the Oscars are going to pan out. Usually. It's not totally unheard of for someone to say, win best actress at the Globes and then not win best actress at The Oscars (like Michelle Pfeiffer winning at the Globes for The Fabulous Baker Boys and then not winning the Oscar also, I MEAN SERIOUSLY).

As I totally suspected, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey NAILED IT. AGAIN. I love them as hosts. Many years of SNL hosting has made them ideal candidates for this kind of thing and I really enjoy watching them.

In terms of the winners in each of the categories on the whole, I am largely in agreement. When it comes to the film side of things, I feel that pretty solid choices were made. In some cases (such as the foreign film category) the competition was immensely close.

On the television side of things, I really feel like Jessica Lange should have won and the less said about the speech given by Jacqueline Bisset, the better. On the other hand, I'm happy that Amy Poehler is FINALLY receiving recognition for Parks and Recreation.

Breaking Bad was an obvious front runner but deservedly so. And the (slightly) surprise win for Andy Samberg for Brooklyn Nine-Nine was also well deserved.

All in all a good Golden Globes. I look forward to the Screen Actors Guild Awards this weekend (when I can find out where in the name of Meryl Streep I can watch it, seeing as the UK only seem to get the red carpet on E!).

Witches of Eastwick (1987)

(Witches of Eastwick - 1987)

One of my favorites! Such a strong cast.

And a couple more Instax

Making up for my severe lack of posts over the festive season! Just a couple more images from the Instax camera.

Fujifilm Instax - December 2013

In love with my new camera! After deliberating buying a Polaroid for YEARS I'm really enjoying using an instant camera. As it currently stands, Instax film is still massively cheaper to buy than the current reproduction Polaroid film is to buy (although I am still sorely tempted to get one off eBay and wait it out until the film for it is cheaper). But at this moment in time, I'm scouting out places to buy the Instax film cheaply either here in England or in America for when I go to Florida in April this year.
